Butter Chicken Tikka

Serves- 4


Ingredients:


Boneless chicken- 500g (cut into thin slices)

Kashmiri red chilli powder- 1tbsp

Coriander powder- 1tbsp

Cumin powder- 1tbsp

Amchoor powder- 1tbsp

Garam masala powder - 1/2tbsp

Ginger/garlic paste- 1tbsp

Cashew paste - 2tbsp

Dried fenugreek leaves - 1tsp

Hung curd- 1/4th cup

Tomato puree - 2tbsp

Fresh cream- 2tbsp

Roasted besan- 1tbsp

Salt - to taste

Sugar- 1tsp

Mustard oil- 1tbsp

Diced onions/capsicum/tomatoes


Method:


  1. Mix all ingredients along with chicken pieces & diced veggies.

  2. Add live charcoal to the bowl and smoke for 5 minutes.

  3. Keep marinated for a minimum of 30 mins.

  4. Skew the chicken on a skewer and the veggies one after the other.

  5. Heat a grill pan with some oil & butter

  6. Place the sticks with the chicken pieces on the pan. Drizzle some melted butter over the chicken pieces.

  7. Cook 2-3 mins, each side.

  8. Garnish with some onion rings, chaat masala, melted butter, fresh cream and enjoy!
